Meet Mama and Papa Kru.....

These two amazing people, whom also happen to be 2 of my greatest friends, just had a beautiful baby girl yesterday! Little miss K joined the world sometime yesterday morning/early afternoon. My source of information was Papa Kru, whom was a little jiggity when I talked to him, I am sure excitement had overcome him. But I did get out of him that she was 6lbs 13.9 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I am so sad they live so far away now, in one year we went from living 2 doors down from one another to now living 12 hours apart.

Sweet Little Baby K

To my dear friends Mama and Papa Kru,
I am so excited for you and just know what you all are going to be amaing parents. Little Miss K is one lucky little girl and she does not even know it! Chase is anxiously awaiting the meeting of his future girlfriend! We love you guys!

The very top picture is from when a friend and I drove 12 hours to WV to surprise Mama Kru for her baby shower about a month ago. 12 hours with an 8 week old and a 6 week old was far from fun, but well worth it!

Being a Mother......

sure does change everything! If you asked me 9 years ago when Daddy C and I first started dating, if in 9 years I would be married to this amazing man and have 2 amazing boys with him I would think you were crazy. But today, 8 years 10 months and 30 days to the day that we began dating I am not only married to my high school sweetheart, but I am also the mother to his 2 amazingly sweet boys.

As I sit here today, my oldest son T is off on a little vacation of his own. He went to SC with his cousins to visit Daddy C's parents. After a visit with them for a few days my Dad will pick him up on Thursday and my parents and T will make there way here on Friday so we can all celebrate Easter as a family. I have never really had a problem with T going away before, my parents would take him for weekends when we lived in Savannah and would take him while we went on vacation, but man I had a super hard time letting him go this time. Infact I had already said no he was not going and then we decided he could make the decision. He said "Heck yeah, I wanna go see my Grandaddy". So here I sit without my big man T wishing he were home so I could hear his random comments and infectous laugh. Here is my sweet little man the night before he left.....cheesing like usual.

This little break from T has afforded me the opportunity to spend some much needed quality time with Baby C and Daddy C to for the matter. It has been nice to only have one little man to attend to, that still sleeps most of the day. It has been nice to spend one on one attention with Baby C and play with him during his waking hours. See how sweet he looks while playing.....

and another for good measure in case you did not see how cute he was above....

And last but certaintly not least on this cold April day in the southeast, well she is really in the north east sort of I guess, one of my best friends is currently in labor and has been last night with her first child. I can not wait to meet little miss K and wish Mama Kru and Papa Kru the best of luck on this super exciting day!

Not Me Monday...Stellan Style!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can usually head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week, however MckMama is in the hospital with her wonderful, sweet baby boy Stellan. So in honor of MckMama this wonderful blogger The Cline Family is doing Not Me Monday Stellan Style on her behalf. Won't you share with others as I am going to do what you have not been doing for Stellan this past week?!?

I most certaintly did not sign up for Twitter, which I swore I would never use and am now completely addicted to, just to get updates on sweet sweet Stellan, not ME!

I also did not set it so that I only get MckMama's tweets sent to my phone, I do not want to miss an update on this sweet little baby while I am out running my mundane tasks.

I did not let everyone on my facebook as well as my IRL friends know about Stellan and put it on their hearts to pray for him, nope not me!

I did not make my kids take pictures holding Stellans name and send them to the name gallery, nope not me and I am not making my husband take Stellans name to make all of his privates in this RIP class take a picture with his name either.

I did not and am not praying for Stellan whenver he crosses my mind and it is layed on my heart to pray for him. Nope not me at all!

My Life.......

This is my life...my sweet sweet life. Daddy C reading a book to T while feeding Baby C....this is my sweet sweet life. Why does Daddy C have that sweet neon green Spongebob bandaid on? Why thanks for asking.....Daddy C was partaking in getting certified in Combatives for the Army this week and he came home with many cuts, bruises, swollen cheeks, bloddy nose, etc this week. T finally had enough and isisted that Daddy C allow him to put a bandaid on his newest swollen cheek. These are my boys....this is my life!

A Brother's Love....

could not be any sweeter than this........

T just loves to snuggle with C and give him kisses galore, although C at times is less than thrilled about such things.

I never knew how amazing the love of an older brother for his little brother could be. I was apprehensive at first to say the least as T had been our whole world for 3 years and now he was going to have to share us. But boy oh boy was I wrong....Tucker is a fantastic big brother and C could not be any luckier!

SNOW!!!!

We were in Cumming, GA today, visiting with Daddy C's sister and her family when I began to hear rumors of snow in Columbus. One of the very few times we leave Columbus something exciting happens...go figure.

We got back to Columbus just in time to enjoy the last of the snow that was left on the ground. Daddy C and T loved it and C was less than thrilled!

We made a trip home and....

C met his cousins....

Here is C with big cousin CB.

And of course R too!

It would not have been a complete weekend without Aunt Kgetting her love in too, oh yeah and my brother in the background...

We had a great visit home to Charleston. I wish we would have taken more pictures but oh well!

Daddy C and I were able to leave the kids with my parents and stay at the Mills House Historic Hotel in downtown Charleston, it was fantastic!! We also went to an amazing dinner at Magnolia's, which is where my little brother works and my cousin is a manager. It was so nice to be grown-ups for the night!
