Not Me Monday...Stellan Style!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can usually head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week, however MckMama is in the hospital with her wonderful, sweet baby boy Stellan. So in honor of MckMama this wonderful blogger The Cline Family is doing Not Me Monday Stellan Style on her behalf. Won't you share with others as I am going to do what you have not been doing for Stellan this past week?!?

I most certaintly did not sign up for Twitter, which I swore I would never use and am now completely addicted to, just to get updates on sweet sweet Stellan, not ME!

I also did not set it so that I only get MckMama's tweets sent to my phone, I do not want to miss an update on this sweet little baby while I am out running my mundane tasks.

I did not let everyone on my facebook as well as my IRL friends know about Stellan and put it on their hearts to pray for him, nope not me!

I did not make my kids take pictures holding Stellans name and send them to the name gallery, nope not me and I am not making my husband take Stellans name to make all of his privates in this RIP class take a picture with his name either.

I did not and am not praying for Stellan whenver he crosses my mind and it is layed on my heart to pray for him. Nope not me at all!

Why thanks for asking.....Daddy C was partaking in getting certified in Combatives for the Army this week and he came home with many cuts, bruises, swollen cheeks, bloddy nose, etc this week. T finally had enough and isisted that Daddy C allow him to put a bandaid on his newest swollen cheek. These are my boys....this is my life!

A Brother's Love....

could not be any sweeter than this........

T just loves to snuggle with C and give him kisses galore, although C at times is less than thrilled about such things.

I never knew how amazing the love of an older brother for his little brother could be. I was apprehensive at first to say the least as T had been our whole world for 3 years and now he was going to have to share us. But boy oh boy was I wrong....Tucker is a fantastic big brother and C could not be any luckier!

SNOW!!!!

We were in Cumming, GA today, visiting with Daddy C's sister and her family when I began to hear rumors of snow in Columbus. One of the very few times we leave Columbus something exciting happens...go figure.

We got back to Columbus just in time to enjoy the last of the snow that was left on the ground. Daddy C and T loved it and C was less than thrilled!

We made a trip home and....

C met his cousins....

Here is C with big cousin CB.

And of course R too!

It would not have been a complete weekend without Aunt Kgetting her love in too, oh yeah and my brother in the background...

We had a great visit home to Charleston. I wish we would have taken more pictures but oh well!

Daddy C and I were able to leave the kids with my parents and stay at the Mills House Historic Hotel in downtown Charleston, it was fantastic!! We also went to an amazing dinner at Magnolia's, which is where my little brother works and my cousin is a manager. It was so nice to be grown-ups for the night!

We're Home!!!!

After the wonderful(insert sarcastic tone here) 2 days spent at the glorious and super lush (uhum, ghetto) Doctor's Hospital we are in the comforts of our own home and brother T could not be any happier!

However our homecoming was not complete withouth some sort of drama! Upon our arrival home there was a full house, really too full, my parents, Daddy C's parents and grandmother were all here so it was a bit cramped and hectic too! Then to find out that someone, who shall remain nameless, had used paper towels and flushed them down the toilet. So not only are all of these people in my house and all of them are older than middle aged and apparently have pea sized bladders, but now only one toilet is working and that happens to be the one on MY bedroom. My father, bless his heart, tried for hours before we came home and even went and bought a new plnger to try to clear the toilet lines. So to say the least upon my arrival I was beyond irritated so off to walmart I went to buy a super duper co2 plunger that did just the trick.

Now go, go everyone, the toilet is fixed and you all have put your hands all over the baby now get out and let me snuggle with my boys!

Oh look how cute C was on his way home...

Oh yes and the very first picture in this post is how C felt about a cramped house and a clogged toilet on his 2nd day of life!

What a Way to ring in the New Year!

Our amazingly fantastic New Year's edition could not be any more perfect......

5:00 a.m. came really early that January 15th morning, that is when we had to be at the hospital for my induction. After a completely incompetent nurse that could not figure out the monitor and blew my vein trying to get an iv in, then did not even change the sheet that had a ton of blood on it from this process, things finally got started. I got hooked up to the monitors and the pitocin started. About 7:30 I started to feel the contractions pretty good, I got my epidural around 10:00, oh how I love the epidural, it is amazing and I love it, did I say I loved it?

Here I am pre-epidural, but still feeling Ok....

After my epidural and having my water broken the family came in for a quick visit, before I learned it was time to push...I went from a 4 to a 10 in about 45 minutes..here is T visiting me one last time as my only child.....

After about 30 minutes of glorious, fantastic and completely pain free ( I AM TOTALLY LYING) pushing our whole world was complete. C .A. Gleaton was born at 1:37 p.m. on January 15, 2009. He weighed 7lbs 2 ounces and was 20 inches long..perfection!

His brother got to meet him, here is C and T for the very first time...

More later...back to my boys!
